Treefrog & Forest Fantasy Factory Photo Gallery
We discovered and created our own worlds in the forest this week at Three Bears Acres. We built structures on land and in the creek, from forts to bridges and dams. We discovered secrets of the park, like cow bones and treehouses. What a way to end the season!

In this epic week of Schoolhouse camp, we voted on Democratic Friday for a never done before Creek Stomp! We hiked into untouched places of Brumley Nature Preserve, and had so much fun in the creek! We tested out making bamboo, wind chimes, and popsicle stick harmonicas – but our favorite activity by far was being in the creek!

The Art of Storytelling Photo Gallery
In this story themed week, we heard all sorts of creative and fun stories, and even created some of our own! Our favorite games were Kick the Can, Scout Mission, and Werewolf! We loved climbing new trees, building forts by the pond, and searching for cool finds during creek time. We even got to have extra water time on some days to stay cool on our hot days!

While we surprisingly didn’t see a fawn this week, we were able to spend extra time in the creek! We loved searching for crawdads, clams, and smooth mud. Splashing each other and our counselors was a huge hit! We got to climb in Viney Village, build an epic fort, and enjoy our fun in the sun! This week sure was one to remember!

Advanced Whittling and Woodworking Photo Gallery
Woodcarving is an art form that connects campers with the outdoors while developing their creativity. This week we had a chance to focus on advanced whittling projects like carving figurines and utensils. Campers got the chance to try their hand at making a cup using embers and carving tools. When our hands needed a rest, we had a fabulous time relaxing at the river, playing games, and exploring the forest!

This camp week was dedicated to mastering fire craft. Campers had a chance to practice different types of friction fires including the bow drill, the pump drill, and quartz and steel striker fires. When we weren’t trying our hand at primitive fire skills, we had a blast cooling off in the Eno River and playing plenty of games!
