Schoolhouse camps provide a great opportunity for children to connect with nature through creative play! Campers let their imaginations take over, working together to build a forest village of their own design and ingenuity. We created as many different kinds of structures as we could, using only the natural materials available to us. In our summer village, everyone had a role to play. When weren’t busy with construction, we would tell stories around the village square, played games, took hikes, and discovered new adventures to be had at the Eno.
Brainstorming? Try Gamestorming! Campers unleashed their imagination with a week of original games. This camp was all about using creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork to invent some brand-new games. Communication, ingenuity, and a great sense of humor were required as we created, played, and improved camper-invented games. Campers also had a chance to use and make game supplies and props.
