This camp week was all about astronomy and navigation. We heard the stories of some of the more popular constellations, as well as tried our hand at learning basic orienteering skills by using a compass and a topographical map.

Set Your Course: Stories of the Stars (Durham, 7/25/22-7/29/22)

Many birds call West Point on the Eno it’s home. During this bird-focused week, campers practiced bird calls and tried their hand at the Barred Owl call. Everyone went on a hike to see what birds they could spot and identify. Campers flew away from camp with newfound bird knowledge!
