This week campers practiced their skills at archery, hatchet throwing, and atl atls. While waiting their turn to test their arms, they played some of our favorite Schoolhouse games such as Sock Wars and Monarch. We also cooled off on the creek each afternoon.

At Schoolhouse of Wonder, we believe that skill development and follow-through are worth acknowledgment and celebration. This week we immersed ourselves in the challenge and excitement of earning our “Rings.” From learning the whittling rules to carving a spoon. We pursued knowledge and skill with safety and purpose in the following core areas: fire building, plant identification and use, and simple woodworking with a pocket knife or vegetable peeler.
