We had a delightful (and short!) camp week together at Umstead State Park. We explored the tributary and creek and found a bunch of critters like salamanders, crayfish, snails, and snakes. Our diverse weather allowed us to spend some time building forts and running around playing classic Schoolhouse games, and also warmed up enough for us to wade and splash around in the creek. We practiced whittling and played in the springtime mud. Take a look at the photos below to see how we ended each day dirty, tired, and happy!
