We really lived up to our theme this week in Forest Jamboree camp! We sang songs, played “normal” instruments and even created our own. We learned a bit about the songs of the forest and about how animals communicate with varying tones, pitches, and rhythms. We interrupted our concerts long enough to play a few classic Schoolhouse games like Windigo, and spent a little time each day splashing in the creek. And of course, we enjoyed finding a bunch of critters, including snakes, crayfish, skinks, and toads. It was an exciting and full week. Take a look at the photos below to see how kept the forest jammin’!
