With Andy Goldsworthy as our guide, we explored the world of natural arts this week at Umstead State Park. Whether learning about nature-weaving, building sand castles, or creating elaborate mosaics, the Land Art campers let their imaginations run wild! When not creating stunning and fleeting works of art, we hiked and explored some new areas of the park and found tons of critters. We also took time each day to cool off and relax in the creek. We even managed to fit in some games and story-telling. It was a unique and creative week of camp. Take a look at the gallery below to see some of our works of art!
