Our first Brumley Monster camp was a blast! Plenty of hard work and creativity went into monster masks and costumes, culminating in our Friday Monster Parade. Monster-themed games were another hit with Scout Mission, Dragon’s Egg, Kick the Can, and Sock Wars encouraging sneaking, running, and hiding through the fall forest. The rest of our time was filled with fort building, exploring the fall forest, and getting wet and muddy in Stony Creek! Our week wouldn’t have been complete without some whittling, hanging out (literally!) at viney village, and finding critters like a rough green snake, crayfish, salamanders, and plenty of frogs and toads.
