Everyone learned all about reptiles and amphibians this week at Umstead State Park! When campers took a break from catching salamanders and skinks during creek time they spent the rest of their time crafting paper frogs, playing Defeating the Lich and Sachamamba Snake Tag.

Campers spent the week looking for snakes! In between searches their time was spent making paper plate snake crafts, playing Werewolf tag, and looking for Crawfish in our creek. While no snakes were found, much fun was still had!

We had a splashing good time adventuring all over the lake this week! We kayaked, canoed, paddle boarded and swam to our hearts content as we made new friends and learned new skills. We played lots of silly games, explored new parts of the lake and shore, and left with a smile on our faces.

Our youngest campers were hard at play exploring the wild outside and discovering brand new natural treasures along the river! This week was filled with fun as campers crafted, built forts, collected rocks, made friends, and popped bubbles, all while learning how to treat nature with the kindness it gives us.

We took it easy out in the woods this week at Three Bears. Our days were filled with whittling, friendship bracelets, and even handmade snacks! We kept cool with iced tea, lemonade, and ice cream. We had it made in the shade this week.

Spears and Fishing and Critters oh my! This week we travelled back in time to hone ancient skills such as fishing with bamboo poles, throwing spears using atlatls, learning to track, and so much more!
