On Tuesday some of the group saw two snakes before lunch, a worm snake and a yellow-bellied green snake. Did you go on the snake hunting expeditions? Have your feelings about snakes changed since the beginning of camp?
- This week we played a game called “Werewolf” where campers pick an animal to pretend to be and avoid getting tagged by the werewolf. What was your strategy for the game? Were you sneaky (like a snake) to tag others? Or did you prefer chasing (like a coyote)?
- Growth Rings give campers the ability to work on different skills here at Schoolhouse of Wonder. They have been a huge hit this week. Have you been working towards any of our Growth Rings? What categories interest you the most? (Hint: the categories are snake, fire, whittling, and plants.) Are you working toward earning a Growth Ring?
