If you’re wondering what your camper has been up to this week, here are some questions to get the conversation started…
- Who is the Hairy Man? How did Wiley and Grandma defeat him? How did we have to work together to defeat him?
- We had a park employee do some orienteering with the campers. What did your camper think about it? What skills did they learn? (The activity was for kids at about a 3rd grade level difficulty. The 5 and 6 year olds had some difficulties, but should feel proud for participating.)
- We’ve been to several cool sites around Harris Lake (a few examples: the fishing pond, the beach, the field, the cloud factory, and the nature playground). What has been your campers favorite and why?
