Questions to Ask Your Tracks and Trails Camper – Tuesday

If you’re wondering what your camper has been up to this week, here are some questions to get the conversation started…

GNARLY STUMP CAMP (Ebonee’s Group)

  1. Yesterday morning you searched in the creeks and rivers for micro invertebrates. How many did you find? Based on what you found, does the Eno River seem healthy to you?
  2. On Monday afternoon, you played a game where you’re allowed to howl. What game is it? What was your secret animal?
  3. We’ve worked on some growth rings this week. What area are you most interested in – fire making, plant identification, snake identification & handling, or whittling? Are there any rings that you are hoping to accomplish?

TURTLE CAMP (Pat’s Group)

  1. At water time yesterday, you saw a number of slithering friends swimming in the pool area. How many did you spot? What type of slithering friends were they?
  2. On Monday afternoon, you played a game where you’re allowed to howl. What game is it? What was your secret animal?
  3. Today, you went on a scavenger hunt. What were you looking for? How many different things did you find? If you could make up your own scavenger hunt, what would people have to find?
