- This week, your camper is becoming a Junior Naturalist, exploring the forest and documenting what they find in a nature journal! Ask your camper to show you their first designs. Did they get to press any leaves into their journal?
- Exploration is an essential part of Schoolhouse. So far this week, campers have seen several different areas of the park and gotten to freely explore various spots in the woods and the creek! What place has been your camper’s favorite?
- Since its Treehugger week at Schoolhouse, we’ve gotten to learn a lot about plant identification! Has your camper been able to spot poison ivy or found any interesting-looking moss? Sourwood, a tree whose leaves are (you guessed it!) sour to the taste was spotted on the trail, did your camper get to try some?
