This week of camp we celebrated all things springtime! As the seasons changed we were able to go exploring and see new vegetation and foliage peeking out. We played new games like Splat and Pollination Station and we did a choose your own adventure story that took us on a journey around the park. We also made and painted clay creations. Along with games, we heard stories, whittled, and acted out skits. Along with new activities, we played classic games like Windigo, Storm the Castle, and Werewolf. Check out a few photos of our time together this week.

During Face the Windigo camp we not only played the classic game of Windigo, but we acquired different magical objects that helped us to defeat the two Windigos on Thursday. It took cooperation, teamwork, and agility but we conquered the beasts! Along the way we made our own magical objects (wands of wonder), heard stories, and found a few critters too. Spring is definitely underway. Warmer days allowed us to take a few polar plunges in the creek and in the Eno River. Here are a few pictures that captured our camp week together.
Into the Wild Eno camp had campers exploring creeks, the river, and the forest for this 2-Day and 5-Day camp. Rainy days didn’t stop the fun, and allowed us to spend time making homemade compasses and experiencing a Schoolhouse Escape Room! The sunny days were spent finding critters in the creek, in the forest, and playing Meet a Tree. All of this exploring was of course accompanied by Schoolhouse classics including Sock Wars and Windigo. Take a look at the pictures below to see how we ended each day dirty, tired, and happy!
