This week we got to do all sorts of spooky October activities! We built a human-sized spiderweb maze, enjoyed face-painting, carved a pumpkin, roasted pumpkin seeds, and even built our own stilt grass monsters. When we weren’t enjoying all those shenanigans, this group was excited to play games, catch critters, and make a stilt grass fort. We loved ending our week with a family circle inside the fort!

This week in Rhythm and Roots, campers explored all of the sights and sounds of Brumley Forest. They were able to make their own sounds and music too! Campers created musical instruments such as harmonicas, giant bamboo xylophones, and even windchimes out of recycled glass bottles. Our week also included a variety of Schoolhouse games, fort building, whittling, and lots of wildlife sightings. Check out our pics for a glimpse into our week!
