This week of camp focused on tons of classic Schoolhouse of Wonder games. While we played them all, group favorites included epic games of Sock Wars and Six Feathers. When not playing games, our campers worked on some impressive whittling projects, hiked, splashed in the creek, and listened to stories. Take a look at the photos below to see how we ended each day dirty, tired, and happy!
This silly, giggly group of campers had a blast exploring Umstead State Park this week. We searched around for critters and were not disappointed, finding several crayfish, some frogs, turtles, and more! We did crafts, heard stories, and even dabbled in some face paint. Take a look at the photos below to catch a small glimpse of our big week!

Our Catfish campers had a blast exploring the trails and creeks of Umstead State Park this week. This group had a real flare for architecture and built everything from tiny fairy homes and toad abodes to large forts. We learned the rules of safe whittling and and worked to improve our skills. And no week at Schoolhouse of Wonder would be complete without plenty of games, stories, and (of course) water time! Take a look at some of the photos below to see how we ended each day dirty, tired, and happy!
This critter-filled week of camp featured several turtles, hundreds of tiny toads, a few snakes, and more! Counselor Brent kept campers and counselors alike entertained spinning story after story. Campers even became characters in some of the stories. We splashed in the creeks and explored the trails of the park. Check out the photos below to catch a small glimpse of our big week!
