If your camper came home with a flat-sided object, a butter knife, or a spoon, they might have been a camper in Whittling Basics camp. We spent this week honing our skills in this classic Schoolhouse of Wonder pass-time. We focused on safety and skill-building and came away with some excellent whittled projects! When not whittling away, we spent our time looking for critters in the forest and creek, building forts, playing games like Kick the Can, and telling stories.
