We had a week filled with creating out at Brumley Forest! We practiced whittling techniques on projects like gnomes and snakes and moved on to using a few tools like a hand saw and hand drill to complete our wall hooks. The end of the week saw us lashing our river cane into a variety of inventions including a bench, a ‘deer trap’, and more. While we weren’t crafting, we enjoyed some fantastic games like Scout Mission, Eagle Eye, Train Robber, and Bum Bum Bum. We were thankful it was warm enough to enjoy some creek time this week with bridges built, salamander eggs spotted, and mud designs painted. Enjoy some of our pictures from Whittling & Woodcraft Camp!
