Business Community Partnership Program
Schoolhouse of Wonder is a 501(c)3 nonprofit working in Durham, Orange and Wake Counties to create kind, curious, and confident kids through nature-based outdoor adventures.
While our main source of revenue is fees for program services, we do rely on the partnership of families and the business community. We are fortunate to work in a generous region, where our values around curiosity, growth, belonging, accountability and empathy are shared by so many.
Fidelity Foundation
The Fidelity Foundation is a private, nonoperating foundation committed to building capacity in nonprofit organizations. Foundation grants are designed to encourage the highest standards of management and long-term self-reliance in nonprofit organizations. Taking an investment approach to grantmaking, we fund organizations where we feel we can add lasting, measurable value. We seek to support major initiatives that nonprofits undertake to reach new levels of achievement, and the Foundation’s founding operating principles still guide our decisions and grantmaking today.
For over 24 years, Common Impact has partnered with Fortune 500 companies and hundreds of leading nonprofit organizations to create transformational change through skills-based volunteering.
York Properties, Inc.
In 1910, C.V. York founded a construction company on his core commitment to service. More than 100 years of growth have passed. The company’s scope has broadened but the stewardship to his legacy remains solid under the fourth generation of York leadership. With our commitment to client and community service, we expect York to be around for the next century.
