Description
Throughout this wildlife-themed week, our group will hike to lesser traveled spots in Umstead State Park in hopes of running into some scaly friends, and maybe other kinds too! We’ll pull out our field guides, binoculars, and nets in search of as many critters as we can find. In the quiet of spring, we'll have a chance to loook for the clues that critters are all around us learn to spot an animal trail, squirrel dray, scat, and more. We’ll be telling plenty of animal stories and playing animal themed games as we dive deep into the wildlife that make Umstead home.Don't worry, we will still take time out of our naturalist time to play games, whittle, explore, and visit the creek (as weather allows).
