Description

This week we'll focus on some key skills for surviving in the wilderness with an emphasis on stealth and camouflage. Can we hide in plain sight? Can we build our own shelter? Can we find our way using maps or compasses? Can we identify plants that are safe to eat and which ones might not be? We can do all this and more with a little time, patience, and the skills we're going to practice this week!

*In addition to the theme-related activities listed above, every week of camp may include some classic Schoolhouse activities such as: morning and closing circle, water time, deep woods and field games, whittling, storytelling, and of course, looking for any critters we can find!
