Description

This week in camp, we'll explore ancient projectiles from around the world, including bows and arrows, spears, atlatls and tomahawks. We'll learn how to use them safely and responsibly, and we'll talk about how they've been used historically by people around the world. We will also have a chance to try our hands at making a primitive weapon of our own! Whether you're just starting out, or a projectile master, we'll work together to improve our skills and aim for greatness!

*In addition to the theme-related activities listed above, every week of camp may include some classic Schoolhouse activities such as: morning and closing circle, water time, deep woods and field games, whittling, storytelling, and of course, looking for any critters we can find!
