Come experience the magic and wonder of nature through creativity and play! This fun-filled week for our younger campers is a wonderful introduction to experiencing the outdoors. This week, campers will explore all the unique rocks that cover the ground of Umstead State Park. We will look under rocks to find hidden creatures, find the coolest quartz crystals, and do a colorful rock themed craft. Along with these themed activities, campers will have the chance to build forts, splash in the creek, relax during storytelling, explore the forests and fields, try their hand at whittling, and of course, play some amazing Schoolhouse games!
