Come experience the magic and wonder of nature through creativity and play! This fun-filled week for our younger campers is a wonderful introduction to experiencing the outdoors. This week, campers will go deep into the woods and get to know some of the trees that make Umstead special. They will hide behind them as they play games, search their leaves for critters, and do some tree themed crafts like making leaf bracelets and crowns! Along with these themed activities, campers will have a chance to build forts, splash in the creek, relax during storytelling, explore the forests and fields, try their hand at whittling, and of course, play some amazing Schoolhouse games!
