Description
This week, campers will investigate how everything in nature works together to balance the resources of the forest. We’ll search for crayfish under rocks, uncover turtles hiding in the leaves, and hop with frogs on the trail. We'll investigate the plant life of the forest and see if we can find any creatures that eat them! On top of it all, we'll become forest builders, just like beavers, to construct (and deconstruct!) forts, bridges, and dams.
In addition to these themed activities, we'll include classic Schoolhouse activities such as: morning and closing circle, water time (weather permitting), forest and field games, whittling, storytelling, and searching for forest creatures.
