Description
Explore why fire is important to nature and to us! We will get a chance to practice different ways of starting fire, and learn about its many uses for basic survival like cooking food and making tools. Let's circle around and celebrate its warmth while we tell stories and riddles. We will also play our classic Schoolhouse games and enjoy the creek if the weather allows. Join us this week to see if we can harness the heat to our advantage!
In addition to the theme-related activities listed above, every week of camp may include some classic Schoolhouse activities such as: morning and closing circle, water time, deep woods and field games, whittling, storytelling, and of course, looking for any critters we can find!
