Description

Get ready for a week full of splashing in the creek! This week, campers will spend extra time wading through the creeks of Umstead looking for crawfish and learning how to skip rocks. Back in the woods, campers will play Schoolhouse classics like Defeat the Lich. Campers will also have the chance to build forts, try their hand at whittling, and explore all the wonderful things Umstead has to offer. Whether splashing in the creek or playing amongst the trees, campers will stay active, engaged, and having a blast all week long.

In addition to the theme-related activities listed above, every week of camp may include some classic Schoolhouse activities such as: morning and closing circle, water time, deep woods and field games, whittling, storytelling, and of course, looking for any critters we can find!
