Description

Join us for an epic 2 days of exploring Umstead! We'll take the hidden path to Mother Tree, take the scenic route to the Secret Bridge, and travel down through the ferns to a tucked-away creek. We'll see what animals we can find, what new base camps we dare to explore, and collect small natural treasures along the way! Can we find new trees to climb? A spot that has the best quartz crystals? Come explore with us to find out!

We try to spend as much time outdoors as possible, even on chilly days! Please send your camper dressed for the weather. If it’s nice enough, we’ll even try to have (limited) water time!
