Help Shape What’s Next at Schoolhouse of Wonder — Join a Committee!

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely on on people like you to serve on our standing committees.

Committee Volunteers

You already know what makes Schoolhouse special. Maybe you’ve enjoyed your kids coming home dirty, tired, and happy. Maybe you’ve seen them grow bolder, kinder, and more curious because of time spent outside with people who believe in them. That experience — that magic — is what we work every day to protect and expand.

And we need your help doing it.

We’re looking for committee volunteers — people who are ready to roll up their sleeves, bring their networks, and help move Schoolhouse forward in meaningful ways. This isn’t about sitting in the background. We’re looking for doers and connectors: people who get things done and who can open doors for the organization.

If you have a few hours a month to give, we’d love to connect with you about opportunities to serve on one of standing committees:

  • Internal Affairs Committee — Help us build the financial and operational frameworks that set Schoolhouse up for long-term success. We need people who bring financial fluency to conversations about budgets, investments, and long-term planning. Backgrounds in finance, accounting, policy development, or organizational systems are a great fit here.
  • External Affairs Committee — Help us grow our presence, our relationships, and our resources in the community. We need a range of people here: those who will show up —telling the Schoolhouse story, and representing our mission in the community; and those who are connected — with relationships in the philanthropic and donor community who can help open doors for fundraising; If any of those descriptions sound like you, we’d love to talk.

Thank you for being part of this community. The work we do together matters — and there’s more to do.
