Story-telling is one of many unique parts of Schoolhouse. We’ve been telling stories since we started almost thirty years ago. Story-telling engages campers, holds attention, and can be used to fill those critical 5 or 20-minute gaps. They can smooth a group’s transition, enrich the plot of a group game, or help process emotions. Story-telling is often a new experience for our staff, and an understandably intimidating one. We can’t encourage you to try it enough! The learning curve for story-telling is quick – try it out a couple times and you’ll see what we mean.
