Although our week was shortened due to Hurricane Florence, we made the most of our time together. With our desire for adventure leading the way, we set out to discover all we could throughout Umstead State Park. We made maps and looked for treasure and we were not disappointed! We found countless nature treasures and critters galore. Forest games, whittling, and fort-building rounded out our time together. Take a look at the photos below to see what our week was all about.
