All Eyes on Bullseyes Photo Gallery
We took our projectile skills to the next level and zeroed in on getting that perfect shot! We learned how to use the whole spectrum of Schoolhouse projectiles including the atlatl and bows and arrows with a focus on hitting the mark. We practiced honing in our aim and as we worked to connect body and mind. This camp was a bullseye!

Campers unleashed their imagination with a week of original, brand new, never-been-seen-before games created by our campers! Using some of our Schoolhouse classic games like Werewolf and Six Feathers as inspiration, campers used their creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork to invent some brand new games. Communication, ingenuity, and a great sense of humor were used to create, play, and improve camper-invented games. Campers also had a chance to use and make game supplies and props.

Campers experienced the magic and wonder of nature through creativity and play! This fun-filled week for our youngest campers was a wonderful introduction to experiencing the outdoors. This week campers made their own bunny headbands, practiced following rabbit tracks, and heard some folktales about rabbits! Along with these themed activities, campers had a chance to build forts, splash in the creek, relax during storytelling, explore the forests and fields, try their hand at whittling, and of course, play some amazing Schoolhouse games!

Primitive Fishing & Brumley Overnight Photo Gallery
In our shortened holiday week, some of our campers joined us for the overnight experience where we slept under the stars in Brumley Nature Preserve. During the day we searched for cool critters to find, whittled to our heart’s content, and made our own primitive fishing sets out of sticks, fishing line, and bent paper clips! Some cool nature highlights included the Great Blue Heron we saw in the creek during our evening creek wade, the box turtle we saw on Monday, and the friendly and photogenic dragonfly!

Sublime Water Time Photo Gallery
Sublime water time, sublime it was indeed! We had extra water time this week and we used it to find all sorts of things from the perfect stick or clay, to the coolest clam or crawdad! We painted our faces (sometimes even with mud) and had many silly stories that were told in our short holiday week. Sublime water time sure was a time to remember!

Egret Photo Gallery
In this shortened holiday week, we had a blast stompin’ through the creek, just like an egret would! We found all sorts of cool critters like salamanders, dragonflies, clams, and even a friendly wolf spider! We climbed vines in Viney Village, changed our silly game stories to match our fun Egret theme, and bonded with each other in only 3 short days!

What Floats Your Boat? Photo Gallery
Raft Week! This week was a unique one – our main goal was to build a raft big enough and strong enough to float us! While we had to build a smaller one than we anticipated due to weight constraints, it still worked great! Campers also loved our skin care routines (daily mud masks), and playing our favorite Schoolhouse games like Defeat the Lich and Keeper of the Fire. One of our counselors also brought in some animal pelts that we got to explore as well, fun!
