Lots of water means lots of fun! The week was filled with new places to explore and challenges to overcome. We made a cool dam (and took it back down), climbed trees, and colors to find in the forest! No matter what we were working on, we did it together!

Teamwork Makes the Streamwork (Brumley – Orange, July 7-11, 2025)

Water water everywhere! We’ve found new ways to play and brought back some classic fun! Building forts and playing games filled out mornings before we cool off with mud tattoos and sponge battles! We also loved seeing all the critters like newts and butterflies!

The Forest Frontier (Brumley – Orange, July 7-11, 2025)

Butterflies and mud helped the days fly by as we explored and played in the forest! We had plenty of time to craft with pipe cleaners before finding clay to create new tattoos! But our giant sponges helped us clean up and cool off! 

Dragonfly (Brumley – Orange, July 7-11, 2025)

A short week felt a bit longer when campers were able to stay overnight at camp! During the days, we learned skills that would help us if we were lost in the forest like navigating with compasses and plant identification, and how to roast the perfect smore. A twilight walk around the pond let us see a beaver before we tucked in our tents for the night. 

Backyard Bushcrafting with an Overnight ( Brumley – Orange, June 30-July 3, 2025)

With a long menu of smores, dough boys, dump cake, and homemade whipped cream, we practiced our fire starting techniques (and safety). We also enjoyed running games with our fellow chefs before cooling off in the creek.
