Summer Refund Deadline Has Passed — Fall Camps Open for Registration!
|
The summer camp cancellation period has now ended. Families who cancel summer camps after May 15, 2026 are no longer eligible for refunds. Transfers may still be possible depending on space availability and timing. Transfers from multi-day camps made more than 14 days before the start of camp incur a $30 administrative fee per child, per change, while single-day camp transfers incur a $10 fee. Unfortunately, changes cannot be made within 14 days of the start of camp except for adding aftercare. Looking ahead, Fall Camps will be opening for registration soon! Once fall registration opens, families will also be able to request transfers from summer camps into available fall camp programs. For full cancellation and transfer policies, click here. |
November 24-25: Brumley Bonanza! Photo Gallery
These two days with filled with celebration and gratitude for Schoolhouse of Wonder, Brumley Nature Preserve, and each other! We enjoyed classic Schoolhouse games like camouflage and Watch Your Back Tag. We climbed trees and whittled with their fallen branches. In the afternoons, we were faced with fun challenges like being led by a buddy while blindfolded and weaving through a yarn maze. We ended the days with a handmade gifting circle.
November 17-21: Grow With The Flow Photo Gallery
Campers really made the most of this week as they explored every direction of Umstead State Park. From Loblolly Trail to Company Mill, the group found countless cool spots to whittle butter knives, skip rocks, and learn about the local plants. During these explorations they also found a Red-tail Hawk, a salamander, and countless huge crawfish!
October 28-30: Operation: WILD Photo Gallery
Campers made the most of this wet week as they whittled, started fires, cooked special treats, and played a lot of Ninja! When the skies cleared and the sun came out, the group worked together to build a nature obstacle course full of mazes, ladders, and hurdles.
October 13-17: Untamed Creators and Crafters Photo Gallery
This camp week was an opportunity for campers to unleash their creativity, imagination, and maker-spirit! Campers had the chance to learn and improve whittling skills and use basic hand tools to create larger and more elaborate woodcraft projects. We didn’t stop there! We took our design and building skills to the skies and creeks with kites, paper airplanes, and boat-making challenges. There was something for everyone to create in this untamed camp!
