October 13-17: Untamed Creators and Crafters Photo Gallery
This camp week was an opportunity for campers to unleash their creativity, imagination, and maker-spirit! Campers had the chance to learn and improve whittling skills and use basic hand tools to create larger and more elaborate woodcraft projects. We didn’t stop there! We took our design and building skills to the skies and creeks with kites, paper airplanes, and boat-making challenges. There was something for everyone to create in this untamed camp!
October 6-10: Learning From The Land: Shelter & Fire Photo Gallery
Campers had some big adventures this week! Both groups learned about fire safety and skills during a group fire, and they roasted marshmallows on sticks they found in the woods. We spent less time in the creek as the days got chillier, and more time playing extra games, building stick shelters, and telling stories in the forest.
September 29 – October 3: Colors & Camouflage Photo Gallery
Our campers explored every color of the forest this week! We counted creatures on nature rambles, investigated forest and river habitats, and played both classic and brand new games. Campers got to see the new opportunities that rainy days can bring, and we finished the week with some beautiful fall weather.
September 22-26: Primitive Playmakers Photo Gallery
Primitive Playmakers was a week of exploration, creativity, and connection in the woods. Campers spent their days crafting flags, playing imaginative games, and learning hands-on skills like whittling and fire making. Surrounded by nature, they built confidence, friendships, and a whole lot of outdoor memories.
September 22-26: Quest For Quartz Photo Gallery
Our investigators followed clues and challenges all around the forest this week! We fended off werewolves, broke magic spells, and decoded mysterious notes on our search for the kingdom’s missing quartz. Along the way, we built an epic fort village, explored West Point on the Eno’s historical features and water spots, and had plenty of fun with friends.
September 8-12: Wings & Waves Photo Gallery
Campers had a blast this week as they made waves splashing in the creek and soared through the sky on our home-made rope swing! Other highlights of the week included seeing a red-tailed hawk, playing kick the can (multiple times!), and building forts.
