This week our campers learned about the wonderful world of worms! We searched for cool worms in the forest and a compost bin and played our favorite Schoolhouse games with a worm-twist. We enjoyed games like Sashamambaworm and Northern Water Worm, and of course got ourselves muddy in the creek as a true worm would!

This week of camp was all about celebrating the animals of the woods! Campers searched for animal tracks, caught animals, acted like animals, made animal calls, and even created their own animals. Summer is the best season to appreciate the wildlife around us!

Campers had a blast as they tried to stay cool in the summer heat! Many forts were built, many crayfish were caught, and much fun was had playing fainting goat tag!

Lots of fun fort building was done during this week of camp. Participants did a great job using natural resources from the park to creature out of this world shelters using all sorts of strategies and blueprints!

This group went the extra mile in everything they did this week! They explored new parts of the park to discover new base camps, traveled to the furthest creek spot, Spa City, and made larger than life shelters during their fort building stations!
