This wonderful week of fall camp was truly a blast from the past. We built our Old Timey Village deep in the woods and it included many imaginative structures – a bakery, a doctor’s office, a trading post, and even a hiking stick emporium! We also found time to throw some hatchets, do some crosscut sawing, and roast some good old-fashioned doughboys over the campfire (complete with cinnamon and hand churned butter). Water time at the Eno River was also a favorite this week, and we found lots of aquatic critters including water snakes, crayfish, and an old one-eyed snapping turtle! We hope you enjoy these fun pictures from Old Timey Village.
