If you’re wondering what your camper has been up to this week, here are some questions to get the conversation started…
- We visited a small stream in search of animals. What animals did we find? Why is it a good idea to not hold the salamanders we found in the stream? Are there salamanders you can hold? What are some of the other names for crayfish?
- Monday afternoon the group chose between building a mini village out of natural materials or whittling. Which one did you choose: village, whittling or a little bit of both? What was the village made out of? What whittling project are you working on?
- Tuesday morning we played a game called Bakweli. How do you play the game? What team were you on: the pine cone, rock, or stick team? Were there any similarities between Bakweli and Six Feathers? What made the games different? Which game did you like best: Six Feathers or Bakweli?
