If you’re wondering what your camper has been up to this week, here are some questions to get the conversation started…
- We’ve been hearing stories all week! We’ve heard Native-American folktales, chapters from Sideways Stories from Wayside School, the scout mission story, and even some of the counselors’ real-life stories! Do you remember your favorite story? Can you tell me your favorite part?
- Our counselors brought some musical instruments to play music for us this week! Which instrument did you like listening to? Did you get to try playing the Kalimba? (Linda-Cates mini piano) What instrument would you like to learn to play one day?
- We explored a different base camp every day! Buckeye, Fairypants, Sunshine Hill, and Fern Gully! Can you tell me about the different spots? Which one was your favorite? What kind of activities did you do at each base camp?
