Our Squirrel campers had a week full of adventure and exploration! We hiked, splashed, ran, hid, and sang our way through Umstead State Park. We got to look closely at nature, using nets in the creek and binoculars in the forest. We played games and listened to stories about animals and people alike. Of course, no week at Schoolhouse of Wonder would be complete without critters, and this week was no different. We found everything from teeny, tiny newts to big ol’ black rat snakes.
