Campfire’s aren’t only good for warmth! This week campers explored the many wonders a campfire can create! We baked potatoes, cinnamon apples, pizza, AND cobbler, YUM! Using techniques such as foil packs and dutch oven cooking. This week was a tasty treat that also included the usual Schoolhouse fun of games, whittling and MORE!

Campfire Creations (Durham, 9/26/22-9/30/22)

Campers joined us for a week of old time adventure, as we experienced how people lived hundreds of years ago. We’ll played old timey games like Corn Husk Darts and Hoop Rolling, had a chance to cook handmade biscuits over an open fire, churn butter, and try out some pioneer crafts. We even threw spears! This camp provided an unforgettable look into the past.
