Inchworm Photo Gallery
This week in camp, we had a blast exploring the insects of the trees, underground, and the creek. In the spirit of Inchworm week we told stories of inchworms and learned new facts about nature’s wondrous creatures. We also played games like Chef Cooki and with such a brave group we took campers on an adventure to a distant creek spot. Take a look at a few photos to get a quick glimpse of our great week!
Feather Fanatics Photo Gallery
This week at Schoolhouse of Wonder we learned all about the lives and behaviors of our feathered friends. We used binoculars to get an up-close look at birds throughout the park. We also learned a bit about bird calls and learned to mimic the tones of some of the native birds. We constructed bird houses to attract birds to our homes so we could keep on observing even after camp ended. Games like Windigo, looking for critters, and splashing in the creek filled up any time we had left. Take a look at the photos below to see how we ended each day dirty, tired, and happy!

In the spirit of Minnow week we played Sharks and Minnows and Fishy Fishy Cross My Ocean. Campers also had time to enjoy the little things like whittling, building forts, and opening and closing circle. We learned so much about fish in a game of One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.
