This week we really tackled the question of what to build. Campers practiced whittling, sawing, lashing, and hand drill skills as they made all sorts of creations including clothes hangers, wooden animal sculptures, gnomes, and even an elevated platform fort. Creek time was a favorite for many campers and catching crayfish, touching a northern water snake, having some wild splash fights, and getting muddy were just a few ways campers spent their time. When we weren’t creating or cooling off, we played plenty of games including Kick the Can, Sock Wars, and Six Feathers. We were amazed to see some awesome creations being crafted, whittled, and built this week while having a great time in camp. Check out our photos to see more about how we spent this week!
