The forest, streams, and river provide the perfect setting for hearing, crafting, and sharing stories and songs at camp. This week we will explore the exciting elements that compose a captivating story. We'll dive into the world of character creation and plot development as we craft and share our own stump-side stories and stream-side songs together. We might even try whittling our own characters or create character costumes from natural materials from the forest. On Thursday, we'll put our storytelling and song singing on display at our camp out under the stars. 

Join us for a week is all about engaging the imagination and we cannot wait to see what stories the campers come up with!

*In addition to the theme-related activities listed above, every week of camp will include some classic Schoolhouse activities such as: morning and closing circle, deep woods games, whittling, storytelling, and of course, looking for any critters we can find.
