Join us this week as we explore the different "ologies" waiting to be discovered in our forest. From familiar ones like "biology" and "ornithology" to more exotic-sounding studies like ichthyology, dendrology, and herpetology, we'll explore them all! Campers will learn first hand how to estimate a tree's age, survey for insects, and test if our soil and streams are healthy. Each day we'll explore a different area of science through experiments, games, hands-on activities, and adventures! When we aren't investigating the fields and forest, we'll be taking plenty of time to play some classic Schoolhouse games, explore the creek, whittle, and build forts. Whether your camper is a budding environmentalist or they're looking to spark a new passion, this week will be loaded with amazing discoveries that will be sure to appeal to all!
