Description

Cool weather is a wonderful time to explore the forest and see a new side of familar places. In this naturalist themed week, we will fuel our creativity and test our observation skills as we explore this new side of the forest.

Depending on the interests of the group, activities may include:

journaling or sketching inspired by our time in the forest
using binoculars and magnifying glasses to take a closer look at the animals around us
designing rock sculptures, fairy houses, and mobiles
creating natural art mandalas and forest inspired masks
hiking to new, unexplored locations
whittling and woodworking to create functional or artistic creations
and of course, plenty of games in the forests and fields!
