Description
This week we will use the art of concealment to both learn more about wilderness survival and to play games. Campers will make and map caches, try their hand at a variety of camouflage techniques using natural materials like leaves and mud (come ready to get dirty!), and practice various methods of moving silently. Classic games like Scout Mission and Beckon will take a twist when we put our new skills to the test! We will also have a chance to try our hand at creating caches to hide our treasures. It will be a week of sneaking and hiding all around the forest!
*In addition to the theme-related activities listed above, every week of camp will include some classic Schoolhouse activities such as: morning and closing circle, water time, deep woods and field games, whittling, storytelling, and of course, looking for any critters we can find!
