Description

Campers will get new opportunities to earn Schoolhouse Growth Rings at Schenck Forest. We’ll focus on the skill areas of plant identification in this specially managed forest, whittling and woodcraft, searching for and identifying nonvenomous snakes, and maybe even trying our hand at primitive fire building! Whether your camper is interested in earning rings or just wants to try new skills, they can do it all this week. 

When we aren't discovering new skills, we'll include classic Schoolhouse activities such as: morning and closing circle, water time (weather permitting), forest and field games, storytelling, and searching for forest creatures.
