Build it, float it, race it! This week, we’re crafting miniature boats and making a big splash. Using only natural materials, we’ll whittle, weave, and design our very own boats. From gathering materials to perfecting our creations, every step is a hands-on adventure. Once our boats are ready, we’ll float them down the creek and see how they withstand the rocks and eddies of Umstead's creeks.

*In addition to the theme-related activities listed above, every week of camp will include some classic Schoolhouse activities such as: morning and closing circle, water time (weather permitting), deep woods and field games, whittling, storytelling, and of course, looking for any critters we can find.
