Description
Come experience the magic and wonder of nature through creativity and play! This fun-filled week for our younger campers is a wonderful introduction to experiencing the outdoors. Schenck Forest offers a special habitat for the endangered Longleaf Pine. Campers will use pine needles and pinecones in unique crafts and can try whittling with potato peelers on fallen sticks. We’ll discover how many different creatures call these trees home, and we’ll explore the woods to see what other kinds of trees we can find.
Along with these themed activities, campers will have a chance to build forts, splash in the creek, relax during storytelling, and of course, play some amazing Schoolhouse games!
